شهادة الآيزو 27001 لإدارة نظم أمن المعلومات - عمادة تقنية المعلومات والإتصالات
حصلت جامعة نجران ممثلة في عمادة تقنية المعلومات والإتصالات على شهادة الآيزو العالمية (آيزو 27001) في أمن المعلومات ، التي تُعد من أعلى الشهادات العالمية التي تمنح في مجال أمن المعلومات، والمعيار القياسي المعتمد دولياً لجودة وحماية أمن المعلومات وإدارة خدماتها، جاء ذلك بعد الانتهاء من عملية مراجعة تفصيلية ودقيقة لخطط واستراتيجيات إدارة المخاطر وجميع سياسات وآليات وإجراءات العمل المتبعة من قبل منظمة المواصفات البريطانية URS والمعتمدة للتصنيف ومنح الشهادات من قبل منظمةUKAS البريطانية.
وتعد شهادة الآيزو 27001 لإدارة نظم أمن المعلومات، ذات معايير ومواصفات عالمية لنظام إدارة أمن المعلومات ، وهي منبثقة من المعايير البريطانية، وبدأ تطبيقها عام 2005 وجددت المعايير في 2013، والتي تعد من القياسات العالمية الأكثر دقة لإدارة نظم أمن المعلومات. كما تحوي شهادة "آيزو 27001 لإدارة نظم أمن المعلومات" 114 تحكماً (كنترول) استطاعت الجامعة ممثلة في عمادة تقنية المعلومات والإتصالات تطبيقها وتنفيذها بنجاح، وبذلك تمكنت من الحصول بجدارة على هذه الشهادة العالمية من قبل المنظمة البريطانية URS .
