1. Administrative and Financial Affairs:

  • Presiding over the College Council, supervising the organization of its affairs, calling for its sessions, implementing its decisions, and sending session minutes to the University President.

  • Applying the regulations and systems of the Higher Education Council.

  • Achieving the goals and higher policies of Najran University.

  • Implementing the University Council's decisions related to the college.

  • Supervising the preparation and follow-up implementation of the college’s strategic plan.

  • Overseeing the management of the college’s educational, research, administrative, financial, and cultural affairs.

  • Developing the college administratively, academically, and in research.

  • Coordinating and developing the college’s relations inside and outside the university.

  • Supervising the provision of all educational, research, administrative, and financial requirements of the college.

  • Evaluating the performance of the college’s vice deans, academic department heads, and directors/chiefs of affiliated units.

  • Maintaining the college’s fixed and movable assets.

  • Coordinating the work of the college advisory council and implementing its recommendations.

  • Working on developing and enhancing the college’s self-generated financial resources and improving its public image.

  • Supervising the planning and preparation of the college’s budget.

  • Forming the necessary committees to perform the college’s tasks.

  • Preparing comprehensive periodic reports on the progress of study, academic, administrative, and research performance in the college, and submitting them to the University President.

  • Reporting to the University President based on reports or observations received from department heads regarding any breaches of duties or violations by faculty members or equivalents.

  • Reporting disciplinary matters related to students and college staff according to regulations and bylaws.

  • Performing tasks delegated by the College Council.

  • Representing the college inside and outside the university.

  • Implementing tasks assigned by the University Council or its director.


2. Academic Affairs:

  • Supervising the educational process, ensuring implementation of its plans, and developing academic programs.

  • Applying quality assurance, evaluation, and academic accreditation systems and regulations.

  • Supervising various student activities within the college.

  • Monitoring examination performance and maintaining order and discipline within the college.

  • Encouraging research in the various disciplines of the college.

  • Establishing academic links with educational institutions inside and outside the Kingdom.

  • Supervising the recruitment of faculty members at the college.

  • Overseeing the implementation of study plans and academic programs in the college.
