1. Promote the concept of quality and spread its culture throughout the college or institute.

    2. Oversee the implementation of the quality program within the college or institute.

    3. Supervise performance evaluation processes in the college or institute.

    4. Oversee the implementation of academic evaluation and accreditation programs.

    5. Prepare and execute developmental and strategic plans for the college or institute.

    6. Supervise the activities of the Information Technology Center (or Unit).

    7. Study challenges or issues facing development and quality programs and propose solutions.

    8. Identify specialized training needs for faculty members in academic departments and coordinate with the Deanship of Skills Development to implement them.

    9. Encourage faculty members to participate in training courses, programs, and workshops offered by the Deanship of Skills Development.

    10. Supervise the preparation of a plan to develop the skills of faculty members, staff, and students.

    11. Oversee the use of technology, e-learning, educational media, and distance learning in teaching and learning within the college.

    12. Supervise the preparation of the college’s annual report and distribute it to relevant authorities after approval by the dean.

    13. Provide periodic reports to the dean regarding the progress of work in the units under the agency’s supervision and the challenges they face.

    14. Follow up on the development of educational facilities and update laboratories.

    15. Develop the internal regulations for the Development and Quality Agency, including duties, general job descriptions for employees, and coordination methods between affiliated units.

    16. Supervise financial affairs and entrusted funds allocated to the agency and its programs in accordance with regulations and rules.

    17. Oversee the implementation of development and quality-related topics referred to the agency.

    18. Implement and monitor activities related to awards for creativity and excellence in academic, research, and professional performance within the college.

    19. Develop appropriate interim plans for the periodic review of adopted quality standards to ensure continuous improvement in the performance of academic departments and administrative units.

    20. Establish mechanisms to identify the expectations, requirements, and satisfaction levels of the college’s clients (internal and external) and communicate them to all relevant academic departments and administrative units.

    21. Implement and follow up on the evaluation and development of faculty teaching performance, assisting them in achieving professional and scientific excellence.

    22. Monitor updates to the college’s website regarding the agency and its affiliated administrative units.

    23. Execute tasks assigned by the dean of the college.
