Deputy’s Responsibilities - College of Nursing

Supervising the implementation of the executive regulations and rules related to the Undergraduate Studies and Examinations Bylaw.

Overseeing the academic departments within the college.

Supervising the units affiliated with the Educational Affairs Deputyship.

Supervising the preparation of students’ study schedules in the academic departments and coordinating with other colleges in collaboration with the Deanship of Admission and Registration and the Study Schedules Committee.

Supervising the conduct of final exams and forming their committees, in coordination with the academic departments and the Deanship of Admission and Registration.

Overseeing the application of admission and transfer regulations within the college and between academic departments.

Supervising the activities of the Student Affairs Committee and extracurricular student activity committees.

Chairing the committees affiliated with the deputyship and submitting their reports to the relevant authorities.

Supervising the course equivalency process.

Overseeing requests for deferral, withdrawal from study, and course add/drop for undergraduate students in accordance with applicable regulations and decisions.

Supervising the preparation of lists for academic suspensions and graduations.

Overseeing the activities of the college orientation week.

Providing guidance and counseling to students and resolving issues related to academic achievement.

Submitting periodic reports to the Dean of the College on the progress of work in the units under the deputyship, including any challenges encountered.

Coordinating with college units in related fields.

Supervising the financial affairs and budgets allocated to the deputyship and its programs in accordance with regulations and rules.

Performing the duties of the College Council Secretariat.

Monitoring updates to the college website related to the deputyship and its affiliated administrative units.

Carrying out any tasks assigned by the Dean of the College.
